What this accessory does on your panel door
The Siemens 3VA9277-0FK43 is a door-coupling rotary operating mechanism for SENTRON molded-case breakers. It lets the breaker handle stay behind a sealed door while the rotary operator on the outside provides on/off/trip control. The IP65 rating (NEMA 4, 4X) means the operator face withstands hose-directed water and corrosion — suitable for washdown environments, outdoor enclosures, or food-processing zones where a standard IP20 door cutout would fail.
Panel cutout and fit
The operator occupies a 105 mm wide by 82 mm high door cutout. That footprint is specific to the SENTRON 3VA platform; it is not a generic 22 mm pilot-device hole. The assembly includes a door interlock, a 24 V DC lighting kit for the handle position indicator, and a door-open position accessory that prevents closing the door if the breaker is in the ON position — a standard safety interlock for personnel protection during maintenance.
Compatible breaker frames
Per the manufacturer's specification, this operator fits the 3VA6 150 A and 250 A frames and the 3VA5 250 A frame. If your BOM calls for a door-mounted rotary operator on one of those breaker sizes, this is the matching SENTRON accessory. It does not fit the 3VA4 or 3VA1 frame sizes; those use a different operator order code.
