Integration into the 3VA2 panel
This module is designed as a load-side accessory for the 3VA2 breaker family. It connects to the main circuit via busbar connection, and the infeed can enter from the top or the bottom of the RCD component — which simplifies busbar routing inside the distribution board. The front face carries IP40 protection, adequate for enclosed panel mounting; no washdown rating needed here. Screw fixing secures the module to the mounting plate. Dimensions are 184 mm wide × 150 mm high × 110 mm deep — so it occupies roughly a 4-pole MCCB footprint plus the RCD depth. Sealable for tamper-proof installations where the trip settings must be locked after commissioning.
Communication and remote control
The module supports remote-controlled tripping and communicates with upstream residual current monitoring equipment. Both electrical and communication trip indicators are present, so the status is visible locally and reportable over the bus. The operating frequency is rated at 60 Hz; the part also functions at 50 Hz per the description. Maximum power loss is 66 W — factor that into the enclosure thermal budget. The ambient temperature range spans -40 °C to 80 °C, covering most indoor and outdoor sheltered installations.
