The Siemens SENTRON 3VA9447-0FK41 is a door-coupling rotary operating mechanism — the handle mounted on the enclosure door to reach the breaker inside. It is built for the 3VA5 and 3VA6 molded-case breaker frames in the 400 A and 600 A sizes. Rated IP65 and NEMA 4 / 4X, so the operator seals the door opening against hose-directed water and corrosion — suitable for washdown environments, outdoor enclosures, and food-processing areas where the panel gets cleaned down. The NEMA 4X rating adds corrosion resistance beyond standard 4, important for chemical or marine atmospheres. Two features in the mechanism matter for panel safety: the door interlock prevents opening the door while the breaker is ON, and the door-open position accessory lets the handle stay engaged when the door is open for maintenance — so you can test or rack the breaker without losing the handle position.
The operator body measures 138 mm wide by 94 mm high — the door cutout dimensions. The shaft couples through the door to the breaker. Because it's a door-mounted operator, the panel builder needs to coordinate the cutout location with the breaker mounting position inside. The shaft length and coupling style are specific to the 3VA5/6 frame — no field modification to fit a different breaker family.
