The Siemens SENTRON 3VA9673-0JC24 is a TA4.1 circular conductor voltage tap — a terminal accessory that lets you tap voltage off the main bus without breaking the cable run. It handles two cables per unit, copper or aluminum, stranded or finely stranded, from 400 kcmil up to 750 kcmil. Each set ships three units, enough to cover a three-phase panel. The built-in control wire tap (voltage tap-off) means you can pull a smaller-gauge sense or control wire directly from the main conductor — no separate fuse block or splice required. That saves a DIN rail position and a wiring step in the panel.
Torque and strip length — what they mean on the bench
For stranded cable in the 240–300 mm² range (roughly 500–600 kcmil), the terminal torque spec is 42.4 Nm. That's a firm pull on a long-handled torque wrench — not a screwdriver job. The stripped length is 1.1 in (about 28 mm), which tells your wireman how much insulation to remove for full contact in the compression saddle.
