It carries a 53 kA interrupting capacity at 240 V AC, dropping to 32 kA at 415 V and 8 kA at 500 V — figures that govern its fault-clearing capability at the service entrance or downstream subfeed.
TM210 release and thermal derating
The TM210 overcurrent release combines a thermal bimetal for overload protection and a magnetic coil for short-circuit response. At 40 °C, 45 °C, and 50 °C the breaker holds a full 80 A; above that it derates to 78 A at 55 °C, 77 A at 60 °C, 75 A at 65 °C, and 74 A at 70 °C.
The breaker measures 76.2 mm wide, 130 mm high, and 70 mm deep — a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint that fits most DIN-rail or panel-mount enclosures without re-drilling.
Electrical ratings and approvals context
Rated insulation voltage is 800 V, and the operating temperature range spans -25 °C to 70 °C, with storage from -40 °C to 80 °C. The breaker does not include undervoltage release, ground-fault monitoring, or communication functions — it is a straight thermal-magnetic line-protection device. No trip indicator or voltage trigger is fitted.
