It carries a TM210 thermal-magnetic release, so the thermal element handles sustained overloads and the magnetic element clears high-fault events fast.
Rated 100 A continuous at 40 °C, and it holds that same 100 A at 45 °C and 50 °C — no early derating. At 55 °C it steps down to 98 A, then 96 A at 60 °C, 94 A at 65 °C, and 91 A at 70 °C.
Interrupting capacity by system voltage
Breaking capacity varies with the available fault current at the installation point: 53 kA at 240 V AC, 32 kA at 415 V AC, 14 kA at 440 V AC, and 8 kA at 500 V AC. The 1 000 A maximum rating is the frame's ultimate interrupt capacity under the standard, not the continuous load.
Width 76.2 mm (3 in), depth 70 mm (2.76 in), height 130 mm (5.12 in). That 3-inch width is the standard MCCB footprint for a 3-pole frame in this class — it occupies three 1-inch module spaces on the DIN rail or panel-mount adapter.
