It's a line-protection version — no ground-fault monitoring, no communication module, no motor drive. What matters on the panel is the interrupting capacity: 121 kA at 240 VAC, 76 kA at 415 VAC, 53 kA at 440 VAC, and 12 kA at 500 VAC. That range tells you it's sized for high-fault industrial feeders, not light commercial subpanels. The rated insulation voltage is 690 V, and it's also DC-rated up to 500 V. Front protection is IP40, so it's fine in a clean indoor enclosure but not for washdown areas.
Thermal derating and the TM210 release
The 160 A rating holds flat from 40 °C up to 50 °C, then starts a gentle taper: 158 A at 55 °C, 155 A at 60 °C, 153 A at 65 °C, and 150 A at 70 °C. That's a shallow derating curve — you lose only 10 A over a 30 °C rise, which is better than many MCCBs in this frame size. The TM210 release means the thermal pickup is fixed at the breaker's amp rating (no adjustable long-time band), and the instantaneous magnetic pickup is adjustable up to 1,600 A. That's a standard LI curve for feeder protection — no electronic adjustment, no ground-fault module. Maximum power loss is 38 W at rated load.

The breaker measures 101.6 mm wide, 130 mm tall, and 70 mm deep — a 4-inch wide footprint that matches the standard SENTRON 3VM frame. It's a panel-mount MCCB, not a DIN-rail snap-on, so you'll need mounting hardware and bus-bar connections. Operating temperature range is -25 °C to 70 °C; storage range is -40 °C to 80 °C. The IP40 front rating means it's suitable for a closed electrical panel where dust ingress is limited — no outdoor or washdown exposure without an additional enclosure.
