The Siemens SENTRON 3VM1163-3ED32-0AA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) with a TM210 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release. It carries a 63 A continuous rating across the 40 °C to 50 °C ambient band, derating to 58 A at 70 °C. Interrupting capacity runs 76 kA at 240 V, 53 kA at 415 V, 32 kA at 440 V, and 12 kA at 500 V — enough for most industrial distribution panels fed from a transformer secondary.
Panel fit and thermal management
At 76.2 mm wide by 130 mm tall by 70 mm deep, this MCCB fits a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint on the DIN rail or panel-mount plate. Maximum power loss is 17 W — that heat has to go somewhere in a sealed enclosure; keep the ambient inside the panel below 70 °C operating max, and leave breathing space around the vents. IP40 on the front means it's splash-protected in a typical industrial panel, not for washdown zones.
