Line protection for distribution panels
The 200 A rating holds steady from 40 °C up to 50 °C ambient, then derates linearly to 176 A at 70 °C. That flat top from 40–50 °C is useful for panels in warm electrical rooms or near process heat — you don't lose capacity until the ambient pushes past 50 °C. The TM220 release is adjustable for Ir (continuous current setting) up to 200 A, with fixed magnetic trip thresholds.
The 3VM1220-3EE42-0AA0's interrupting capacity drops from 76 kA at 240 V to 53 kA at 415 V, then 32 kA at 440 V, and 11.9 kA at 500 V.
The IP40 front protection means it's suitable for indoor panels where no water spray is present.
