DC smoothing choke for 690V DC link circuits
The Siemens SIDAC 4EM5105-4CB00 is a single-phase smoothing choke rated for 690 V DC operating voltage, 10 A maximum DC current (9 A rated), with 20 mH inductance. It's designed to sit in the DC link of a drive or power supply, filtering ripple current and reducing harmonic stress on capacitors and upstream rectifiers. Rated for 30 W power loss at 40 °C ambient with thermal class B insulation. The IP00 enclosure means it's an open-frame component — mount it inside a panel or cabinet. Termination is via screw-type or tab terminals on the main circuit. The windings are not selectable in parallel — it's a fixed-inductance unit.

The screw/tab terminals need access for a screwdriver or spade connector — don't bury it behind a fixed panel.
