What this output reactor does
The SIDAC 4EP3800-4UP00 is a 3-phase AC output reactor rated for 10.2 A maximum continuous current with a rated switching frequency of 3 000 Hz. It provides 0.0012 H inductance to limit the rate of current rise and reduce reflected-wave voltage spikes on long motor cables — a common cause of premature drive IGBT failure. The reactor's 46.6 W coil loss and 29.4 W iron-core loss (total ~76 W at rated load) must be ventilated; the IP20 enclosure is intended for inside a panel, not washdown areas.
Sizing and thermal class
Rated for a 40 °C ambient. The thermal class B winding (130 °C rise limit) means the reactor can sustain its full 10.2 A rating in that ambient without exceeding the insulation temperature cap. If the enclosure air rises above 40 °C, derate the current or force air across the core.
