What this reactor does in the drive line
The Siemens SIDAC 4EP4010-0VK00 is a 3-phase output reactor rated for 21 A maximum continuous current and a 6.3 kHz switching frequency. It sits between the VFD output and the motor cable, limiting the rate of voltage rise (dV/dt) and reducing reflected-wave stress on motor windings — especially important on longer cable runs or with older motor insulation. Rated inductance is 0.2 mH per phase, sized for a typical motor load current of 18.9 A (the I_LN figure). The 8 % voltage drop (uK) at rated current tells you the reactor will drop about 8 % of line voltage under full load — factor that into your motor terminal voltage budget. Thermal class B insulation and 40 °C ambient rating. IP00 — no enclosure.
