What this reactor does on your drive output
The SIDAC 4EU2452-0EF00-4BA0 is a 3-phase AC output reactor (choke) rated for 72 A maximum current at 200 Hz and 64.8 A nominal at the rated 4 kHz switching frequency. The 0.22 mH inductance (7% UK) limits the dV/dt and peak currents from the drive's PWM output to the motor, protecting the winding insulation and reducing bearing currents on longer cable runs. Thermal class H (180 °C) with 40 °C ambient means it handles the heat from 107.9 W copper loss and 38.7 W iron core loss without derating in a standard enclosure — but IP00 means it needs panel space, not a washdown zone.
Sizing and fit for your panel
At 0.22 m wide × 0.21 m tall × 0.13 m deep, this reactor takes up a solid chunk of backplate real estate — plan for it on the DIN-rail or a mounting plate, not shoehorned into a shallow gland area. The flat-type terminals (flat connector per the spec) accept lug or bus-bar connections for the main circuit; no spring-cage or screw-clamp here. IP00 means no ingress protection: mount it inside a cabinet with at least IP54 to keep conductive dust and moisture off the windings.
