Three-phase line choke for drive harmonic mitigation
The Siemens 4EU2452-7GA00-0AA0 is a three-phase line choke rated for 350 A continuous current with 0.7 mH inductance per phase. It's built to EN 61558-2-20, the standard for chokes and reactors in power electronics. Flat-type terminals accept busbar or large-gauge cable connections typical of high-current drive input circuits.
The 0.7 mH inductance at 350 A is sized to limit di/dt and reduce harmonic distortion on the line side of a variable-frequency drive. For a 400 V class drive, this choke typically supports a motor load in the 160–200 kW range, depending on the drive's DC-link configuration. The 40 K temperature rise (TA/ISOKL:40 /H) tells you the choke's surface will run 40 °C above ambient at full rated current — factor that into your cabinet thermal design and keep clearance to other heat-sensitive components.
