Filter Reactor for Harmonic Mitigation
The SIDAC 4EU2532-0ME08-0AA0 is a 3-phase filter reactor rated for 90.4 A continuous at 220 V AC, 50 Hz. With a relative throttling factor of 5.67% and a resonant frequency of 210 Hz, it is sized to suppress the 5th harmonic (250 Hz) and adjacent ripple from 6-pulse rectifier drives — the dominant source of line-side harmonics in industrial VFD banks. The 30 kvar reactive power rating means it can support a capacitor bank of that size without saturating the core.
IP00 means it is an open-frame component — no enclosure, no drip shield. It must be installed inside a cabinet with at least IP2X protection, and the 0.21 m height, 0.225 m width, and 0.16 m depth footprint (roughly 225 × 210 × 160 mm) need clearance around the core for natural convection cooling. The thermal class H (180 °C insulation system) allows a 40 °C ambient without derating, but above that you follow the IEC 60085 temperature-rise limits. Terminals are flat connector / screw-type — expect bus-bar or ring-tongue lugs on the main circuit. The 100 A maximum rating gives headroom above the 90.4 A continuous; this is typical for a reactor that must handle transient overloads without saturating.
