The Siemens 4EU2752-2UA00-0AA0 is a three-phase mains choke (line reactor) designed for the input of a frequency converter (FU). It sits between the supply and the drive, limiting harmonic current, reducing voltage notching, and protecting the DC bus from line transients. The 73 µH inductance and 2% relative inductive voltage drop are tuned for typical drive input filtering — enough to smooth commutation notches without dropping excessive voltage under load. IP00 open-frame construction means it goes inside a panel or enclosure, not exposed.
Thermal and insulation class
Rated at 40 °C ambient with thermal class H (IEC 60085) — the winding insulation handles 180 °C hot-spot temperature. Total power loss splits 179 W in the coil and 58 W in the iron core at rated load, so the enclosure must move 237 W of heat. That is a real thermal budget for a panel builder: at 250 A continuous, forced ventilation or a larger cabinet is likely required.
UL/CSA recognized (per EN 61558-2-20) — the nameplate carries the mark, so panel shops in North America can accept it without separate agency review.
