Commutating Choke for Converter Duty
The choke is wound to thermal class H per IEC 60085, meaning the insulation system is rated for a continuous hot-spot temperature of 180 °C, with an ambient temperature rating of 40 °C.
The enclosure is rated IP00 — no ingress protection — so it must be installed inside a panel or cabinet that provides the required environmental sealing. Dimensions are 0.3 m wide by 0.269 m high by 0.211 m deep. Main circuit connections are via flat connectors with screw-type terminals, sized for the 297 A rated current. The choke is intended for bolted or bus-bar mounting within the enclosure; it does not snap onto a DIN rail.
