What this output reactor does
The Siemens SIDAC 4EU3052-0AM10-4BA0 is a 3-phase AC output reactor rated for 88 A maximum current and a switching frequency of 5820 Hz. It is designed to sit between a variable-frequency drive and the motor, smoothing the voltage spikes and limiting the rate of voltage rise (dV/dt) that long cable runs or fast-switching IGBTs can produce. The 0.14 mH inductance per phase (0.00014 H) and 26.8 % impedance (UK) are sized for a 500 V line, with a 40 °C ambient and Class H insulation (180 °C thermal class per IEC 60085).
The enclosure measures 0.3 m wide by 0.26 m tall by 0.21 m deep and carries an IP00 protection class — no enclosure, so it must be mounted inside a panel or cabinet that provides the environmental seal. Main circuit connections are via flat-type terminals, typical for bolted bus-bar or lug-style wiring.
