The Siemens 4EU3052-8UB00-0AA0 is a three-phase mains choke (Netzdrossel f. FU) designed for the input side of a frequency converter. It operates at 500 V AC, 50/60 Hz, and carries a maximum current of 309 A with a rated current of 278 A. The 0.08 mH inductance and 3 % relative inductive voltage drop smooth line-side harmonics and limit inrush current — a standard role for a line reactor in a drive cabinet. Rated for an ambient temperature of 40 °C and built to thermal class H per IEC 60085, the choke dissipates 160 W in the coil and 105 W in the iron core under rated conditions. That thermal class means the insulation system can handle a 180 °C hot-spot temperature, which gives headroom in a crowded panel as long as airflow is adequate.

The choke measures 0.3 m wide, 0.269 m tall, and 0.221 m deep. Main circuit connections are flat-type terminals (bus-bar or large lug), sized for the 309 A path.
