Mains choke for frequency converter drives
It smooths current harmonics and limits inrush, protecting both the drive and upstream components. Rated for 504 A continuous with a 560 A maximum, at 690 V AC and 50 Hz. The 0.000045 H inductance and 2 % relative inductive voltage drop are tuned for typical drive-line harmonic suppression. Thermal class H means the insulation system withstands the hot-spot temperature appropriate for the 300 W coil loss plus 138 W iron core loss at 40 °C ambient.
The 560 A maximum rating sets the upper bound for the connected drive's input current — do not exceed this on continuous duty. The 504 A rated value is the design point for thermal and harmonic performance. Verify lug width against the 0.35 m width and 0.321 m height for panel layout.
