That 4 % drop is the sweet spot for most drive applications — enough to smooth the line current and limit harmonics without dragging the DC bus voltage down so far the drive trips on undervoltage under load. Either way, the choke needs forced air or generous free air around it — IP00 means no enclosure, so it's an open-frame component meant for a ventilated cabinet.
Thermal and connection details
That's a lot of heat to manage; the panel builder needs to account for this in the cabinet thermal budget. Insulation is Class H per IEC 60085, meaning the winding can handle a 180 °C hot-spot temperature, which is standard for high-current chokes that run warm. Connections are flat-type terminals (bus-bar style), not screw clamps — expect to bolt copper bars or lugs directly to the choke.
