The Siemens 5SJ4105-8HG41 is a SENTRON miniature circuit breaker (MCB) — 1-pole, D-curve, rated 0.5 A at 400 V AC.
D-curve and deployment
D-curve MCBs trip magnetically at 10–20× rated current (5–10 A for this 0.5 A unit). That's the right characteristic for circuits with high magnetizing inrush — small motors, solenoid valves, control transformers, or capacitor banks. On a bottling line, for example, this would protect the control circuit feeding a bank of solenoid-operated pneumatic valves where the coil inrush could trip a B-curve breaker. Rated 60 V DC maximum, so it can serve DC control circuits in the same panel.
IP20 with connected conductors (IP40 in the handle area) — fine for enclosed panels. Ambient range -25 to +55 °C operating, -40 to +75 °C storage. Vibration rated at 50 m/s² at 25–150 Hz and 60 m/s² at 35 Hz (4 s). Halogen-free and silicon-free construction, sealable for lockout/tagout.
