The Siemens SENTRON 5SJ4114-8HG41 is a 1-pole miniature circuit breaker with a D tripping characteristic, rated 10 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 and 15 kA per IEC 60947-2 at 400 V AC. It handles 60 V DC as well.
The 10 kA rating under EN 60898 is the standard for domestic/commercial distribution boards; the 15 kA under IEC 60947-2 is the industrial equivalent, giving you headroom for higher fault currents in plant-floor panels. The D-curve trips magnetically at 10-20x In, so it ignores the brief current spike of a motor start or a capacitor bank charge. At 18 mm wide, it fills one slot on a DIN-rail assembly — the same footprint as any standard 1-pole MCB, so it drops into an existing panel without re-spacing.
The 70 mm depth matches the typical SENTRON profile, so it aligns with neighboring devices on the rail. It's sealable (lockable with a padlock or seal cap) — useful for isolating a circuit during maintenance and proving it's locked out.
