Integrator note
The Siemens SENTRON 5SJ4116-8HG41 is a 1-pole miniature circuit breaker with D tripping characteristic, rated 16 A at 40 °C and 10 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898. Rated for 60 V DC maximum, so it also handles DC control circuits in the same panel. Mounts on standard DIN rail, 18 mm wide (1 modular unit), and accepts supply from either end.
Full 16 A rating holds up to 40 °C ambient. Above that, the continuous current must be reduced: 15.5 A at 45 °C, 15 A at 50 °C, 14.5 A at 55 °C, and 14.1 A at 60 °C. Pollution degree 3 (industrial environment) and overvoltage category III. Vibration tested to 50 m/s² at 25–150 Hz and 60 m/s² at 35 Hz for 4 seconds.
