2-pole C-curve MCB for panel builders
Rated 400 V AC and 60 V DC, it breaks fault currents up to 10 kA per EN 60898 and 15 kA per IEC 60947-2. That 15 kA IEC rating gives you headroom on SCCR coordination in industrial panels — the 10 kA EN figure covers residential/commercial branch circuits, while the 15 kA IEC figure is what matters for the industrial plant-floor install.
DIN-rail fit and panel fill
Snaps onto standard mounting rail (EN 60715) in any orientation — vertical, horizontal, upside down, doesn't matter. At 36 mm wide (2 modular units) and 70 mm deep, it fits a standard distribution board or industrial enclosure without protruding past the gland plate. IP20 with conductors connected, IP40 in the handle area — fine for enclosed panels, not for washdown zones.
Current production — no phase-out notice on this code. The 5SJ4 platform is Siemens' established miniature breaker line, and this 2-pole C-curve variant is a standard catalog item. For BOM-line commitment, the 10 kA / 15 kA interrupting ratings and 400 V AC / 60 V DC voltage ratings are the numbers that lock the fit.
Sealable design allows lockout/tagout in safety circuits. Vibration rated at 50 m/s² (25–150 Hz) and 60 m/s² at 35 Hz for 4 seconds — holds up on a machine frame or conveyor line.
