2-pole D-curve MCB for motor and transformer circuits
Rated 400 V AC and 60 V DC, it covers both power-distribution and DC control-circuit applications. The 2-pole configuration switches both phase conductors simultaneously — no neutral switching, so it fits line-to-line loads or two-pole branch circuits.
Interrupting capacity and selectivity headroom
The higher IEC rating gives selectivity headroom downstream of a larger upstream device — useful when coordinating with a 25 kA or 36 kA main breaker in a sub-distribution board. For DC circuits, the 60 V DC rating is the maximum voltage the arc chamber can extinguish — confirm the system voltage stays within that ceiling.
Depth 70 mm, height 121 mm. The combined terminal design at both top and bottom accepts both cable and busbar insertion without swapping parts. Terminal torque spec is 3.5 Nm — a torque screwdriver is expected for the 60/75 °C rated conductors. The handle area carries IP40, so accidental splash through a panel cutout is contained.
The halogen-free and silicon-free construction meets clean-room and railway rolling-stock material restrictions. The sealable design allows the panel builder to lock the handle position after commissioning — useful for tamper-proofing in shared-access enclosures.
