What this 2-pole C-curve MCB is for
Its C-curve tripping characteristic means it holds through moderate inrush — typical for motor-starter feeders, small transformers, and contactor coils — before tripping at 5–10× rated current. Rated 400 V AC and 60 V DC, it fits standard 230/400 V three-phase panels and DC control circuits up to 60 V. The 10 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 and 15 kA per IEC 60947-2 cover most commercial and light industrial fault levels; the higher IEC figure applies when the breaker is used in industrial distribution per 60947-2.
