The Siemens SENTRON 5SJ4340-7HG41 is a 3-pole C-curve miniature circuit breaker. It carries a 10 kA breaking capacity and 15 kA. Rated for 400 V AC, 60 V DC, and sealed against dust; halogen- and silicon-free construction. C-curve holds trip between 5 and 10 times the rated current — standard for motor starters and transformer inrush loads. The breaker mounts on standard DIN rail, any orientation, and survives 50 m/s² vibration at 25-150 Hz, so it won't nuisance-trip on a shaky panel next to a VFD or conveyor drive.
Panel fit & integration
Three modular units wide (54 mm), 70 mm deep, 110 mm tall — drops into any standard 3-pole slot on a DIN rail. IP20 with conductors connected; handle area reaches IP40. Combined terminals top and bottom accept Cu conductors, torqued to 3.5 Nm. Two separate mounting positions are acceptable, which helps when cable entries force a rotated rail.
