The Siemens SENTRON 5SL1110-6MB is a 1-pole miniature circuit breaker with a B tripping characteristic, rated at 10 A for 230/400 V AC circuits.
The B-curve trips between 3 and 5 times rated current — 30 A to 50 A for this 10 A unit — so it is the right choice for resistive and general-purpose loads where inrush is low. If your panel's prospective short-circuit current exceeds 3 kA at the point of installation, step up to the 4.5 kA or 6 kA variants in the same SENTRON 5SL family. Single-pole construction means it switches only the phase conductor. The neutral is not broken. That is standard for single-phase branch circuits in TN and TT systems. For multi-phase applications, the breaker is rated up to 440 V AC between poles. Depth is 76 mm, with 70 mm required behind the panel surface for the body.
Installation notes
Mounts in any position on the DIN rail. Sealable with a lead or wire seal to prevent tampering — useful for metering or tenant sub-circuits. In a densely packed enclosure, that heat adds up — account for it in the thermal budget if you are grouping multiple breakers side by side.
DC capability
Rated for DC circuits up to 72 V maximum. This is a single-pole DC rating — for higher DC voltages you would need series-connected poles or a dedicated DC-rated breaker. The B curve's magnetic trip threshold is higher on DC due to the lack of zero-crossing, so verify coordination with your DC source impedance.
