It carries a C tripping characteristic — meaning it holds through moderate inrush (5–10× rated current) before opening — and is rated 32 A at 400 V AC per EN 60898, with a 4.5 kA breaking capacity certified to both EN 60898 and IEC 60947-2.
At 40 °C the breaker derates to 30.06 A, and at 45 °C to 28.8 A. At 55 °C it carries 26.89 A. The C-curve is standard for general-purpose loads like lighting, socket circuits, and small appliances; it tolerates the brief inrush of a motor or capacitor bank better than a B-curve would. It mounts in any position and is rated IP20 with connected conductors — suitable for dry indoor enclosures only, not washdown or outdoor exposure. For DC applications, the maximum rated voltage is 72 V — so it can protect a 48 V or 60 V DC bus, but not a 110 V DC control circuit. The breaker does not switch the neutral conductor (1P only).
