Rated current derates with ambient temperature: 10 A at 30 °C, 9.52 A at 40 °C, 9.2 A at 45 °C, and 8.74 A at 55 °C. If the panel runs warm, size the load side accordingly — the 40 °C figure is the one most panel builders use for a standard enclosure. That's fine for a distribution board that sees infrequent switching; for a motor-starting application that cycles daily, you'd want a contactor ahead of this MCB.
Snaps onto standard DIN rail. Mounting position is unrestricted — horizontal, vertical, upside-down, the thermal-magnetic trip works the same. Sealable design lets you lock the toggle in the ON or OFF position with a padlock hasp — useful for lockout/tagout on a branch circuit without pulling the whole panel cover.
Energy limitation class 3. Halogen-free and silicon-free construction. The manufacturer provides IEC 60898 and IEC 60947-2 breaking capacity ratings on the nameplate; RoHS and REACH declarations are standard with the SENTRON series.
