Fit and panel integration
The 5SL3240-7: Snaps onto DIN rail. Width is 36 mm (2 width units), depth 76 mm, installation depth 70 mm. Mounting position any, so it fits in tight enclosures or vertical busbar arrangements. Pollution degree 2, overvoltage category 3 — typical for fixed-installation distribution panels. IP20 with conductors connected; no washdown rating, keep it inside the panel.
What the ratings mean
C-curve trips between 5 and 10 times rated current. Energy limiting class 3 limits let-through energy. Mechanical life is 10 000 switching cycles.
Environmental tolerance
Rated for -40 °C to 75 °C ambient, with periodic exposure to +55 °C and 95% humidity. Halogen-free and silicon-free construction. 50 Hz only.
