The 4.5 kA Icn (EN 60898) is the rated short-circuit capacity for domestic distribution boards; the 5 kA Ics (IEC 60947-2) is the service breaking capacity for industrial panels, confirming it can clear a fault and be reclosed without replacement. At 40 °C ambient the breaker derates to 19 A, and at 45 °C to 18.6 A — factor that into the load schedule if the panel runs warm. Four modular-width units (72 mm) snap onto standard DIN rail. The IP20 rating applies with connected conductors, so the busbar stabs and terminals are finger-safe once wired. Sealable, halogen-free, and silicon-free construction suits clean-room or food-processing environments where outgassing matters.
