The Siemens SENTRON 5SL4105-7RC is a 1-pole miniature circuit breaker (MCB) with C-curve tripping characteristic, rated at 0.5 A and a breaking capacity of 10 kA per EN 60898 at 240/415 V AC. The C-curve (5–10× In magnetic trip) handles moderate inrush from small transformers or lighting ballasts without nuisance tripping, while the 0.5 A rating targets protection of control transformers, signal circuits, or very low-current loads where a standard 6 A or 10 A MCB would not provide adequate overcurrent discrimination.

Installation & Integration

Snap-on mounting to DIN rail. 18 mm width (1 MW) fits standard single-module MCB slots. Sealable design allows lockout/tagout. Supplementary devices can be added via the accessory interface. The 50/60 Hz supply frequency range and 250 V single-phase / 440 V multi-phase ratings match standard European LV networks.
