32 A D-curve MCB for high-inrush loads
The Siemens 5SL4132-8CC is a 1-pole miniature circuit breaker rated 32 A with a D tripping characteristic, breaking 10 kA at 230/400 V. The D curve means it tolerates the short-duration inrush current typical of motor starters, solenoid valves, and small transformers — up to 10–20× rated current before the magnetic trip fires. That makes it a fit for motor branch circuits or lighting ballast banks where a B or C curve would nuisance-trip on startup. It snaps onto a standard DIN rail in a distribution board or sub-panel. The 1-pole form factor covers a single phase, so a three-phase motor circuit needs three units ganged with a common busbar.
