The Siemens 5SL4315-7CC is a 3-pole miniature circuit breaker (MCB) with a C-trip curve, rated at 1.6 A continuous current and a 400 V AC system voltage. The 10 kA breaking capacity means it can safely interrupt a fault current up to 10,000 A at 400 V without welding its contacts or failing catastrophically — that's enough headroom for most commercial and light industrial distribution boards where the prospective short-circuit current at the panel is under 10 kA. It's not the D-curve you'd spec for high-inrush welding or X-ray equipment, nor the B-curve for purely resistive or electronic loads. For a 1.6 A rating, that means magnetic trip between 8 A and 16 A.
RoHS compliance is confirmed since June 1, 2013. REACH candidate-list information is available on request.
Snap-on DIN rail mount, 3-pole width (about 54 mm on a standard 35 mm rail). The 400 V rating covers line-to-line in a 3-phase panel; the 10 kA SCCR coordinates with most upstream 63 A or 100 A main breakers in a typical distribution board. Terminal capacity accepts up to 25 mm² conductor — enough for the feed side on a 1.6 A branch.
