Mounting position is any — horizontal, vertical, or flat on the DIN rail; no derating needed for orientation. The IP20 rating applies only with connected conductors — the terminals are finger-safe once wired, but the busbar area is not touch-safe when live and unmated. Sealable, halogen-free, and silicon-free — this matters for food-and-beverage washdown zones or semiconductor cleanrooms where outgassing or corrosion from halogens/silicones is a process risk.
