The Siemens SENTRON 5SL4332-7RC is a 3-pole miniature circuit breaker (MCB) with a C tripping curve, rated 32 A and a breaking capacity of 10 kA per EN 60898 at 415 V AC. It protects branch circuits against overloads and short circuits in residential and infrastructure panels — think distribution boards, sub-distribution, and lighting circuits where standard fault levels are moderate.
Fit and panel integration
Snaps onto standard DIN rail — the 18 mm width (one modular unit) means it takes up minimal real estate in a crowded enclosure. Mount in any position; no derating for orientation.
The 32 A rating matches common feeder and appliance circuits (cookers, AC units, heavy lighting banks). Power loss per pole is 2.73 W in hot state at rated current — three poles together dissipate about 8.2 W, so allow some ventilation in a densely packed enclosure.
A note on the sibling 5SL4363-7
The 5SL4363-7 is the same 3-pole C-curve MCB but at 63 A and 54 mm wide (three modular units). Same 10 kA breaking capacity, same voltage ratings, same temperature range. The 5SL4332-7RC at 18 mm width is the one you want for a 32 A circuit where panel space is tight. If your BOM calls for 63 A, you step up to the 5SL4363-7 and accept the wider footprint. No rewiring difference — both use the same DIN-rail mounting and terminal layout.
