Z-curve MCB for sensitive and semiconductor loads
The Z curve operates between 2.5× and 4× In, meaning it clears short-circuits faster than a B-curve device at the same rating — critical for protecting thyristors, rectifiers, and PLC power supplies where fault energy must be limited quickly. Rated 415 V AC, 50/60 Hz, it fits into standard DIN-rail distribution boards as a 4-module-width unit (72 mm wide).
Rated breaking capacity is 10 kA per EN 60898 and 15 kA per IEC 60947-2 — the higher IEC figure applies when the breaker is used in industrial panels where prospective fault current can exceed 10 kA. The 15 kA rating at 415 V AC gives selectivity headroom downstream of a larger upstream device; you can coordinate this 2 A Z-curve with a 63 A or 100 A upstream MCB without losing discrimination.
Snap-on DIN-rail mount, 72 mm wide (4 MW), 76 mm deep, 90 mm tall, with 70 mm installation depth behind the panel surface. Mounting position is any — vertical, horizontal, or flat — so it fits tight enclosures without derating. IP20 with connected conductors; sealable cover option is available for tamper-proofing in public-access distribution boards.
Environmental and compliance range
Vibration rated at 50 m/s² from 25 to 150 Hz per IEC 60068-2-6, suitable for machine-mounted panels on conveyors or compressors.
