The Siemens 5SL4505-8 is a SENTRON miniature circuit breaker — 1P+N, D tripping characteristic, rated 0.5 A at 230 V AC. The neutral pole switches with the line — no separate neutral bar needed in the load center.
D-curve and thermal derating
At 0.5 A the instantaneous trip threshold sits between 5 A and 10 A. Rated current is temperature-sensitive: 0.5 A at 30 °C, 0.47 A at 40 °C, 0.46 A at 45 °C, and 0.43 A at 55 °C.
Rated short-circuit capacity is 10 kA. Energy limitation class 3 means it lets through less let-through energy (I²t) than class 1 or 2 breakers.
