The 5SL4604-8CC: The D-curve (10-20× In magnetic trip) is sized for motor and transformer inrush currents — a standard C-curve would nuisance-trip on the startup surge of a small conveyor drive or hydraulic pump. At 4 A per pole, this breaker protects a 3+N circuit (three phases plus neutral) drawing roughly 2.8 kW at 400 V three-phase.
Snap-on DIN-rail mounting for 3+N-pole form factor — fits standard 4-module width in a Siemens ALPHA or SENTRON distribution board.
The 5SL4604-8CC has a 10 kA breaking capacity at 400 V, which covers most commercial and light industrial distribution boards.
