That dual-standard rating is useful: EN 60898 covers residential final circuits; IEC 60947-2 covers industrial feeders, so the part carries both worlds.
Pole count and neutral switching
This is a 4-pole unit wired as 3P+N — three protected phases plus a switched neutral. The neutral conductor switching feature means the neutral pole opens and closes with the phases, which matters in TN or TT systems where you want the neutral isolated when the breaker is off. Any mounting position is permitted, so orientation in a tight enclosure isn't a constraint.
Installation and environmental limits
Terminals accept solid or stranded conductors from 0.75 to 25 mm²; tighten to 2.5–3 N·m. Ambient operating range is -25 to +55 °C with up to 95% humidity; storage range extends to -40 to +75 °C. Overvoltage category 3 and energy limiting class 3 are standard for main-distribution MCBs. The breaker is sealable, halogen-free, and silicon-free, which simplifies compliance in environments sensitive to outgassing.
