The Siemens SENTRON 5SL4610-6 is a 4-pole (3P+N) miniature circuit breaker with a B tripping characteristic, rated at 10 A and 400 V AC. It delivers a 10 kA breaking capacity per both EN 60898 and IEC 60947-2, so it clears faults up to that level without cascading upstream in residential or infrastructure distribution boards.
The B-curve (3–5× In) means this breaker trips fast on short-circuit but tolerates the modest inrush of resistive and lighting loads — it is not intended for motor starting, where a C or D curve would be needed to avoid nuisance trips. The 4-module-width (72 mm) body snaps onto a standard DIN rail and accepts auxiliary switches or shunt trips via the SENTRON accessory slot.
