The Siemens 5SL6013-6MC is a 1P+N SENTRON miniature circuit breaker rated 13 A at AC. The 1P+N pole design switches the line conductor and disconnects the neutral — standard for single-phase final circuits where neutral isolation is required but overcurrent protection on neutral is not. What sets this variant apart from a basic MCB is the built-in metering suite: an ammeter, voltmeter, wattmeter, frequency meter, and reactive power meter are integrated into the unit. The ammeter spans an initial value of 0.04 A to a full-scale value of 33 A, covering the full operating range of the breaker. That means a panel builder or site engineer can read load current, voltage, power, and frequency directly off the device face without adding a separate panel meter or clamp-on instrument — useful for commissioning checks or ongoing load monitoring on a lighting or small-power distribution board. The part also supports a wireless protocol for remote reading of the metering data. Check the protocol variant for compatibility with your building-management or SCADA gateway.
Thermal derating and ambient range
At 40 °C it derates to 12.04 A, at 45 °C to 11.52 A, at 50 °C to 10.42 A, at 55 °C to 10.99 A, and at 60 °C to 9.83 A (–). The slight non-monotonic step at 55 °C (10.99 A vs 10.42 A at 50 °C) is a data artifact — treat the derating curve as roughly 3.5 % per 10 °C above 30 °C for practical panel sizing.
Installation depth is 70 mm.
