SENTRON COM compact MCB with integrated metering
The Siemens SENTRON 5SL6016-7MC is a COM compact miniature circuit breaker (MCB) in a 1P+N pole design, rated at 16 A AC and compliant with IEC/EN60898-1 and GB/T10963.1. It snaps onto a DIN rail (fastening method per) and occupies an 18 mm width — one standard module — with a 76 mm depth and 90 mm height, so it fits tight sub-distribution boards where every millimeter counts.
What the 16 A rating means in practice
The 16 A rating holds at 30 °C ambient; above that, the thermal-magnetic trip derates — 15.06 A at 40 °C, 14.57 A at 45 °C, 13.53 A at 50 °C, 14.06 A at 55 °C, and 12.98 A at 60 °C. If your panel runs hot (enclosed busway, adjacent loads), size the branch circuit for the derated value at your actual ambient, not the 30 °C nameplate.
