The C-curve (tripping characteristic class C) means the magnetic trip activates between 5 and 10 times the rated current — so for a 1 A breaker, instantaneous trip occurs between 5 A and 10 A. The 1.2 W power loss per pole at rated current in hot operating state is low enough that derating in a crowded DIN-rail enclosure is minimal — but if you pack 12 of these in a row, still check the ambient temperature inside the panel against the -40 to 75 °C range.
