The Siemens 5SL6105-7CC is a 1-pole SENTRON miniature circuit breaker with a C-curve tripping characteristic, rated 0.5 A at 400 V AC and a 6 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898. Rated for ambient temperatures from -40 °C to 75 °C and vibration tested to 50 m/s² (25–150 Hz) per IEC 60068-2-6, this breaker is built for environments that shake and see wide thermal swings — think crusher panels, conveyor MCCs, or outdoor infrastructure enclosures.
Ratings that drive the fit
At 0.5 A, it protects a low-current branch off a 400 V AC supply; the 6 kA breaking capacity (Icn per EN 60898) clears a hard fault without upstream coordination issues in a residential or light commercial panel. Derating is published: at 40 °C the continuous rating drops to 0.46 A, at 50 °C to 0.42 A, and at 55 °C to 0.4 A. Touch protection is built in — no separate finger-duct covers needed for the busbar side.
Halogen-free and silicon-free construction, sealable. The SENTRON series is widely used in residential and infrastructure builds per the manufacturer's stated suitability.
