Siemens 5SL6163-7CC — SENTRON 1-pole MCB, C-curve, 63 A
The Siemens 5SL6163-7CC is a SENTRON miniature circuit breaker (MCB) for final-subcircuit protection in residential and infrastructure builds. One pole, C-trip characteristic, rated 63 A at 30 °C with a 6 kA breaking capacity per EN 60898 — enough for general-purpose socket and lighting circuits where moderate inrush from small motors or transformers is expected. The C-curve trips between 5× and 10× rated current, so a 63 A breaker clears a short-circuit fault at 315–630 A peak. On a 63 A resistive load at 40 °C the continuous rating drops to 58.09 A; at 50 °C it is 52.73 A — factor the derating if the panel runs warm. Single-pole switching, rated 250 V AC single-phase or up to 440 V AC multi-phase. The 18 mm width (1 MW unit) snaps onto standard DIN rail; mounting position is unrestricted, so it fits horizontal or vertical busbar layouts.
