The 2-pole design switches both line conductors simultaneously, required for 240 V split-phase or 400 V line-to-line circuits where neutral is not switched.
Derating and ambient conditions
At 40 °C it derates to 3.79 A, at 45 °C to 3.68 A, and at 55 °C to 3.45 A. If the panel ambient runs above 30 °C, size the upstream protection and load accordingly — a 4 A breaker in a 55 °C enclosure effectively handles a 3.45 A continuous load.
At 36 mm wide and 76 mm deep, it occupies two 18 mm modular slots — plan your rail fill accordingly. Mounting position is unrestricted, so it can be installed horizontally or vertically without derating.
