What it is and what it does
The Siemens 5SL6213-6MB is a 2-pole miniature circuit breaker (MCB) rated 400V with a 6kA breaking capacity. It uses a B-curve trip characteristic and is rated for 13A continuous load. This is a standard DIN-rail mount device for panel and enclosure protection in commercial and light industrial distribution boards.

Snap-on DIN rail mount, 2-pole width. Packaging dimensions 216 x 93 x 82 mm. The B-curve trips between 3 and 5 times rated current (39–65 A magnetic trip), suitable for resistive and light inductive loads where inrush is moderate. For panel builders: verify the 6kA breaking capacity coordinates with your upstream device — this is a 400V rating, not a 240V one, so the SCCR at the panel level must be checked against the available fault current.
